MechanicalAgency.ca exists for one kind of company: the residential or light-commercial contractor that does plumbing and heating, and often cooling, with one office, one phone number and one fleet. We plan and run the marketing for those shops. Nobody on our side picks up a wrench: no installs, no repairs, no service calls.
The company
MechanicalAgency.ca belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. That group is Canadian-owned, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and has mechanical, trades and consulting clients in every part of the country.
- Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's company for growth, marketing and technology consulting. Under that roof you'll find Trades.Agency, HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Conv.ca and BusinessConsulting.ca.
- SAZ.ca, short for Strategy & Acceleration Zone, is the group's Canadian consulting firm. Ali founded it to work on strategy, AI and revenue acceleration, and Sedighi.ca provides its strategic leadership.
Marketing plans on this site are delivered through the Trades.Agency family, the group's agency brand for trades businesses. That's why our pricing matches the Trades.Agency plans.
When an owner starts thinking about selling or handing over the business, the group's exit brand, BizSell.ca, works alongside Sedighi.ca on valuation, exit readiness, succession and deal structuring.

Why combined shops
Most of the 150+ websites Ali has built are for heating and cooling companies, and many of those companies also do plumbing, or added it. The same three problems kept appearing:
- The brand told half the story. A plumbing name with a heating sideline, or the reverse, so customers never found the second trade.
- The calendar fought itself. Budgets chased the loudest trade while the other one sat idle.
- The customer list sat unused. Thousands of one-trade households, and no plan for the second conversation.
MechanicalAgency.ca was set up to solve those three problems properly, plus the fourth one that follows success: finding enough technicians. The services page covers each.
How we work
- We start with your job data, not with a package. What each trade earns per technician hour tells us which work to market.
- You own everything. Website, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and customer data stay in your business's name.
- We write about your work honestly. Licences, warranties and prices appear only as you give them to us. We don't invent reviews, and we don't promise rankings or lead counts.
- We report in jobs and gross profit where we can, not in clicks.
- We're reachable. Call or text (604) 632-4959, or email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Meetings happen in person or online by video call.
What a first month looks like
Owners often ask what actually happens after they say yes. In the first month of a typical engagement:
- Week 1: we gather access to your website, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and job data, all of which stay in your name.
- Week 2: we review how each trade shows up in search and on your profile, and how your jobs split by month.
- Week 3: you receive a written plan with the first priorities, usually brand fixes and the first service-line pages.
- Week 4: work starts, and the first monthly report sets the baseline we measure against.
You'll know who is doing the work and how to reach them, by phone, text, email, video call or in person.
What we're not
To be plain about it: we are a marketing and business consulting service. We don't do plumbing, gas, refrigeration or sheet metal work. We don't interpret codes, give safety or compliance advice, or act as an employment or legal adviser. Where a regulator is involved, we link to it and tell you to check with them.
Our proof is from HVAC work, and we label it that way on the results page. If you want to see how we'd approach your shop, get in touch.
Frequently asked questions
Who owns MechanicalAgency.ca?
It is one of the brands in the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, Ali Sedighi's Canadian group, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Day-to-day work is delivered through the Trades.Agency family of services.
Do you do any plumbing or HVAC work yourselves?
No. We don't install, repair or service equipment, pull permits or give code advice. We plan and run marketing, and we advise owners on the business side of growth.
Do you only work with shops in BC?
No. We work with combined shops in all ten provinces and three territories. Meetings happen online by video call or in person, and plenty of the work runs over phone, text and email.
Why focus on combined shops rather than all trades?
Because running two trades creates problems a single-trade playbook doesn't solve: a brand that has to carry both, two sets of seasons, and a customer list with an obvious second sale in it. Narrow focus lets us get those right.
