Which of our five services go into your plan, and in what order, is set in your written proposal. The full plan descriptions are on the Trades.Agency pricing page.

Sales tax by province

Prices are before tax. Canadian clients pay sales tax based on their province, at the CRA's published rates as of October 2026:

  • 5% GST: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut.
  • 13% HST: Ontario.
  • 14% HST: Nova Scotia.
  • 15% HST: New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island.
  • 5% GST plus 9.975% QST: Quebec.

In BC, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, a provincial sales tax line appears only where that tax applies to the service. On Growth at month-to-month terms, a Hamilton shop pays $2,258.87 a month with HST, a Halifax shop $2,278.86 and a Laval shop $2,298.35 with GST and QST.

What drives the cost for a combined shop

Running two trades usually puts a shop in a higher plan than a single-trade company of the same size, for three reasons:

  1. Twice the service lines. A plumber may need 10 service pages. A shop selling drains, water heaters, fixtures, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps and cooling may need 25.
  2. Two sets of campaigns. Each trade needs its own emergency and planned-work campaigns so budgets can move with the seasons.
  3. Extra work that single-trade shops skip. Cross-selling to the customer list and recruiting across several trades are both ongoing.

What doesn't drive cost: the number of trucks on your wrap, or how big your logo is.

Working out whether a plan pays for itself

Do this sum before choosing. Take the plan fee and your ad budget, and divide by the gross profit on an average job.

Suppose you pick Elite at $3,999 a month and spend $2,500 a month on ads, for $6,499 in total. If a typical plumbing service call leaves $350 in gross profit and a typical heating replacement leaves $2,200, the mix matters a lot:

  • With only service calls, you'd need about 19 extra jobs a month ($6,499 ÷ $350).
  • With only replacements, you'd need about 3 ($6,499 ÷ $2,200).
  • A realistic mix, say 10 extra service calls and 2 extra replacements, brings in $7,900 in gross profit and covers the spend.

The point isn't the exact figures, which you should replace with your own. It's that a combined shop should market the higher-value work in each trade and use cross-selling to turn small jobs into bigger ones. The cross-sell math guide goes further.

How to choose

  • Growth fits a shop with one main location that needs its brand and service pages fixed before anything else.
  • Elite fits a shop ready to run both trades' campaigns at full strength, with cross-selling and seasonal balancing.
  • Enterprise fits multi-location shops, or those adding recruiting, that want a dedicated team and a new website built as part of the plan.

Terms in plain words

  • Month to month; 30 days' notice to cancel.
  • Annual billing is optional and carries the lower monthly price shown above.
  • A free 30-minute first consultation, separate from any paid plan.
  • Website, profiles, ad accounts and customer data stay in your business's name.
  • Anything else about fees or terms is set out in your written proposal before work starts.

Common questions are on the FAQ page. To talk it through, call, text or email.

Frequently asked questions

Is ad spend included in the plan price?

No. Money paid to Google, Meta or job boards is separate from the plan fee and is shown to you as its own line. The accounts are in your business's name, so you can see every dollar the platforms charge.

How much sales tax is added?

Your province sets it. Using CRA rates in October 2026: Ontario shops pay 13% HST, Nova Scotia 14%, and New Brunswick, PEI and Newfoundland and Labrador 15%; Quebec adds 5% GST and 9.975% QST; everywhere else, 5% GST.

Can we change plans later?

Yes. Shops often start on Growth while the brand and service pages are rebuilt, then move up when they add recruiting or a second service area. Plan changes are set out in writing.

Is the first conversation really free?

Yes. The first 30-minute consultation costs nothing and is separate from any paid plan. You'll leave it knowing which plan we'd suggest, or whether you need one at all yet.
